Maui Wildfire Response
On Tuesday, August 8, a wind-whipped brush fire wreaked havoc in Maui, causing catastrophic devastation to thousands of residents. Homes have been destroyed, and many lack access to necessities, including food. The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Service teams and volunteers have been deployed to affected areas in West Maui, providing meals, spiritual and emotional support and basic needs for those who have lost everything.
